Xfinity Modem & Gateway Lights Explained
Xfinity: Single front LED. White = working. Orange = no internet. Red = critical. Green blinking = connected (this is healthy). Blue = WPS/Bluetooth active.
Router Blinking Orange Light
No internet connection or the router is trying to establish a WAN connection
Router Solid Red Light
Critical error — hardware failure, firmware corruption, or no internet
Router DS/US Lights Blinking (Cable Modems)
Modem is scanning for downstream / upstream channels — not yet connected
Router Solid Orange Light (Not Blinking)
WAN link is established but no internet — ISP issue or authentication failure
